How OneVideo Studio collects, uses, and protects your information.

Effective · 2026-10-01

1. What we collect

We collect only what the service needs to function, in three categories:

  • What you provide: your email and display name (authentication handled by Clerk), the topics and scripts you write, reference images and videos you upload, and brand details you configure (logo, name, contact).
  • What the service generates: your projects and finished videos, credit balance and ledger entries, payment order records, and authorization tokens for social accounts you connect.
  • What we collect automatically: access times, page paths, device and browser type, country or region inferred from your IP (country level only — we do not attempt finer location), and referral parameters.

We do not collect government IDs, facial biometrics, precise location, contacts, or call records. We never see your card number — payments are handled entirely by our payment processors.

2. How we use it

  • Generate the scripts, storyboards, videos, and subtitles you request, and deliver the finished film to you.
  • Calculate and deduct credits, process top-up orders, and maintain your balance.
  • Publish your videos to third-party platforms you have authorized, and sync playback stats back.
  • Run content safety review, blocking generation requests and public content that violate our Content Policy.
  • Diagnose faults, monitor service quality, and prevent abuse and fraud.
  • With your consent, send notifications about your projects (for example, when a video finishes rendering).

We do not sell your information to anyone, and we do not use your private project content for advertising.

3. Third-party processors and cross-border transfers

Producing a short drama requires several external services. Your inputs (topics, scripts, uploaded images and videos) are transmitted to the processors below as needed, and some of them operate outside your country or region:

  • Clerk (United States) — account registration, sign-in, and identity verification.
  • OpenAI (United States) — script generation failover, speech-to-text subtitles, and visual quality checks.
  • Volcano Engine Seedance (mainland China) — video and speech generation.
  • Cloudflare R2 (global) — object storage and delivery for videos and assets.
  • Neon / Railway (United States) — database and application hosting.
  • Stripe (United States) and Xunhupay (mainland China) — web payment processing.
  • Apple (United States) — in-app purchase processing (only when you buy through the App Store).
  • Douyin / TikTok / YouTube — only when you explicitly authorize and trigger a publish, receiving the corresponding video and caption.
  • Google (United States) — advertising measurement on the website (Google Ads / Google Analytics); receives visit and conversion events only, never your scripts or films.

This means: when you use this service, your content is transferred outside your own country or region for processing. If that is not acceptable to you, please do not use the service. We bind each processor by contract to act only on our instructions, but we cannot control their internal technical implementation.

Each processor's own privacy policy also governs its handling of your data; we encourage you to read them.

4. Content you upload and generate

Reference images and videos you upload, and the scripts and films generated from them, are yours and private by default. The exceptions:

  • Once you choose to share a work, it becomes visible to anyone with the public watch link and may appear in the site's Explore feed.
  • Our content safety systems automatically inspect your input text and generated frames; content matching high-risk rules is retained for human review.
  • When we receive a valid infringement complaint or abuse report, we access the relevant content to investigate.

We do not use your private content to train our own models. Whether upstream model providers do so is governed by their own policies and our commercial agreements with them.

5. Data retention

  • Projects and videos: kept until you delete the project or your account.
  • Credit ledger and payment orders: retained after account deletion as required by financial and tax law, but disassociated from your identity.
  • Moderation records: records involving serious violations — especially content involving minors — are retained for the period the law requires and referred to law enforcement where necessary.
  • Logs and monitoring data: typically 90 days.

6. Your rights

  • Access and export: download any film you generate from its project page at any time.
  • Correction: account details can be edited in Settings.
  • Delete your account: available self-service under Settings → Delete Account. This cascades to all of your projects, films, assets, templates, social authorizations, and push subscriptions, and is irreversible. Unused credits are forfeited and are not refunded.
  • Withdraw consent: turn off push notifications or disconnect linked social accounts at any time.

To exercise any other right, or to dispute how we handle your data, contact info@weareoneconncetion.com.

7. Minors

This service is not directed at anyone under 17, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor is using the service, contact us and we will delete the account and its data promptly.

8. Cookies and local storage

We use strictly necessary cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your interface language, record referral source, and cache films locally when you enable offline viewing.

On the website we also use Google's advertising and analytics tags (Google Ads, Google Analytics) to measure our ads: they record which ad brought you here and whether you signed up, started your first film, or made a purchase (purchases report only the amount and order ID). Your scripts, films and card details are never sent. For visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland these advertising and analytics cookies are off by default. The iOS app does not load these tags. You can block or clear cookies in your browser, or turn off personalised ads in Google's Ad Settings (adssettings.google.com).

9. Security

All traffic is encrypted with TLS, and third-party authorization tokens are stored encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, however — keep your credentials safe, and avoid writing sensitive personal information into scripts or uploaded material.

10. Changes to this policy

When we update this policy we revise the effective date above. For material changes — a new category of processor, or a new purpose for your data — we will also notify you prominently in the app. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

11. Contact

For privacy questions or data subject requests, write to info@weareoneconncetion.com. We respond within 30 days.
